Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) brings together the central Procurement, Manufacturing & Technology, Logistics, and Planning functions of Olympic Brewery and the Carlsberg Group under one roof.

ISC manages the brewery network, oversees procurement processes, sets standards for brewing technology and logistics services, and ensures end-to-end planning across the entire supply chain.

By integrating these functions, we optimize the use of our assets, standardize and streamline processes, increase speed and efficiency, and enhance customer service.

Core Functional Areas

Procurement

Procurement manages key categories including raw materials, packaging materials, operations, and services. Its role is to ensure a reliable supply of materials, mitigate supply risks, negotiate competitive pricing, reduce supply complexity, optimize commercial terms, and build long-term partnerships with suppliers.

Manufacturing & Technology

Manufacturing & Technology is at the heart of our business, while brewing great beer. The function is responsible for managing the brewery network, ensuring a reliable supply of products, maintaining quality standards, and operating brewing equipment efficiently.

By bringing together engineering expertise from breweries across the Carlsberg Group worldwide, we are able to share best practices ranging from brewing recipes and Lean methodologies to health and safety standards.

 

 

Logistics

The Logistics and Customer Supply Chain functions are responsible for ensuring that our products are available whenever and wherever consumers choose to enjoy them, whether in supermarkets, bars, pubs, or restaurants.

The function optimizes warehouse networks, transportation and distribution flows, and end-to-end planning to ensure products move from our breweries to our customers in the most efficient and environmentally responsible manner.

Committed to providing nationwide coverage, easy access to our products, and exceptional customer service, Olympic Brewery operates three distribution centers in Thessaloniki, Aspropyrgos, and Crete.

Planning

Planning provides end-to-end support across the entire supply chain, connecting our customers' shelves and counters with our suppliers' networks.

The function ensures that the right products are available in the right quantities, at the right time. It supports efficient production planning, maintains optimal inventory levels, and ensures the availability of the raw materials needed to meet customer demand.
